Enviraboard has been developed over the last 10 years by Danish inventors and engineers who have worked to develop a technology to turn secondary paper waste (known as paper sludge) into carbon-negative building boards.

The boards are made from secondary paper waste that cannot be recycled and would normally go to landfill (to be incinerated) costing each recycling centre circa £9M per year to dispose of.

Using the paper waste to create EnviraBoard not only saves the environment but also provides free raw input materials to produce the boards. Obviously, the technology is IP protected.

They expect to replace the more expensive (in use) and carbon positive Gypsum boards worldwide which we consider to be a realistic target, given the benefits of EnviraBoard.

To finance the construction of a mini-plant in Denmark as a precursor to scaling up of production internationally, they started the launch of a SEED funding round on the 4th of July 2024, to raise 2M and were live on Crowdcube with a limited number of shares, especially interesting for smaller investors and are now available for direct investments (£5.000, - minimum investment amount)

Like any young company EnviraBoard needs money from investors to get their product as soon as possible to the ready for market stage. For that they have secured full support from 350 PPM Ltd., already commercially successful with Organic Heat Exchangers, Megawatt Mosaic, ENG8 (exit in process) and GreenMine.

They have launched a SEED funding round with a target of £2m, to support the construction of a mini-plant. They are forecasting significant international growth as there is the potential to set-up production facilities at up to 1,000 paper recycling sites, and they are projecting profits of between £1m and £2m per site per year. They anticipate an exit opportunity by year four.
